ENGINEERS GEOSCIENTISTS MANITOBA
Concept and packaging design for a direct mail piece sent to 11 CEOs at major engineering companies in Manitoba.
As part of a bigger initiative to change the gender ratio in engineering, 11 direct mail pieces were sent to engineering leaders across Manitoba.
“The Building Blocks” were tangible, 3D infographics highlighting the stark gender inequality in the engineering field. We filled them with 354 petitions signed by a total of 134,768 students, and with materials intended to inform and inspire industry leaders to take action.
THE RESULT
A coalition was formed to ensure 30% of engineers are female by 2030. It has been active since 2018.
-
The coalition includes representatives from PCL Construction, Manitoba Hydro, Standard Aero, Boeing, Hatch, AECOM, Dillon Consulting, KGS Group, Stantec, Crosier Kilgour, MCI, the Province of Manitoba, the University of Manitoba, Red River College, Charleson Engineering, the Association of Canadian Engineering Companies, Engineers Geoscientists Manitoba, and middle & high school students from across Manitoba.
